My Experience
I am finally getting around to reviewing The Slider House, I dined there a couple weeks ago when it first opened. It was exciting since it is close to my house and in the same development as Katie’s Pizza and Pasta at Manchester and McKnight. It was busy, though we were able to sit at the bar to eat. The sliders were tasty, the fried green tomatoes a little bland and the sweet potato fries were yummy. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out a little slow, though I marked that off to the operation being brand new.
The Slider House has only two locations, one in St. Louis and the other in Nashville. From their website… “We are revolutionizing the way you think about what is possible between two small buns. We offer creative, artisan hand-crafted flavor; sourcing as many local inspirations and ingredients as possible. Ahi Tuna? Check. Lobster? Check. Paleo Slider? Yup, check that too. If you can imagine it, we are doing it.” The St. Louis location actually has a special slider that is only available here. The Slider House partnered with local “food scene” rock stars Ben Poremba and Chris Bolyard to develop an exceptional local slider, the B2 Slider. The B2 Slider will feature Ben Poremba’s specialty crafted Gluten Free Bun, Slider House’s Specialty Blend of Bolyards’s Local Grass Fed Beef Patty, Melted Osceola Limburger Cheese, Candied Bacon, Beer Braised Cipollini Onions, Pickled Green Tomato, Fresh Arugula, and Truffle-Artichoke Aioli. Try it out!
