An Old-Fashioned Christmas | December 1 & 2

Join two jewels of local historic preservation—Campbell House Museum and Magic Chef Mansion—for a special holiday open house. Guests will have the opportunity to see both homes in all their Christmas splendor. Free parking is available at Campbell House, where members can call 314–421-0325 for a discounted reservation. $40 per person with advanced reservation, $50 per person at the door. 5–8 p.m. 

Elsah Home for the Holidays Tour | December 2

Enjoy a walk through the historic village of Elsah while touring select homes decorated for the holidays. Farley Music Hall, the Elsah Museum, the historic two-room schoolhouse, Elsah’s bed and breakfast inns, churches, and village shops will also be open. 1–5 p.m. $20 per person in advance, $25 cash only at the door, free for children ages 12 and under.

Kirkwood Historical Society Home Tour | December 2

This unique home tour, dubbed “Building for the Next 100 Years,” explores five newly constructed luxury homes designed by award-winning architects and builders, as well as two historic community landmarks, Olive Chapel AME Church and Mudd’s Grove. 1–5 p.m. $25 per person.

SOULARD PARLOUR TOUR AND HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

Soulard Parlour Tour and Holiday Celebration | December 2

Begin the day with a Champagne toast, followed by a trolley ride to seven distinctive Soulard homes. Attendees receive a special gift. Extend the revelry with a post-tour holiday celebration at the South Broadway Athletic Club for an additional fee. First tour starts at 10:30 a.m., departing every half hour with the last tour leaving at 3 p.m. $50 per person.

Historic Saint Louis, A Spirited Holiday Past | December 2

Choose from participating sites representing various architectural styles and eras, including Affton Oakland House, Chatillon-DeMenil Mansion, Historic Sappington House, Hawken House Museum, and many others. 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Admission varies by location.

Lindbergh Holiday House Tour & Boutique | December 3

Tour five area homes decked out for the holidays and shop from local crafters and vendors at the annual boutique at Lindbergh High School. 11 a.m.–4 p.m. $25 per person, admission for children under age 10 is free.

Webster Groves Holiday House Tour | December 3

This self-driving tour includes eight area homes, as well as an outdoor boutique where attendees can purchase food and drinks and shop local goods. 2–6 p.m. $35 per person.

Belleville Candlelight House Tour | December 10

Explore lovely and historic homes dressed in their holiday best. The tour begins at the Belleville Philharmonic Hall, where guests exchange their tickets for tour programs. They can then tour the participating homes at their leisure. 1–6 p.m. $25 per person.

LAFAYETTE SQUARE HOLIDAY PARLOR TOUR & HOLIDAY MARKET

Lafayette Square Holiday Parlor Tour & Holiday Market | December 10

This year’s self-guided walking tour includes 11 homes decorated for the holiday season. Ticket holders can also enjoy carriage rides in the park, trolley stops around the neighborhood, and an annual holiday market. 10 a.m.–4 p.m. $35 per person in advance, limited day-of tickets available for $40 per person.

Wentzville Community Historical Society Holiday Home Tour | December 10

This driving tour starts at the History Center (310 W. Pearce, Wentzville), then continues to several decorated homes across the area. The fun continues at Friendship Brewery Company (100 E. Pitman, Wentzville), including a ticket for a free beer and a chance to win a gift basket. 3–7 p.m. $20 per person.
