I have seen plenty of Mid-century homes with little hazzards for children. In fact, I had a couple coming to visit me with a young toddler and told them they could use my guest house. I took a look at my guest house railing above some steps to the lower level and realized that it was completely open and their cutie would fall right through. Well I ended up putting the guests up in my main house and I took over the guest house.
