The home of the renown late sculptor, Saunders Schultz, is available for the first time. An example of Schultz’s works can be seen in front of Caleres in Clayton and his works span across the world. The home was designed by famed architect Richard Cummings and renovated by the Schultzs in the 70’s. The hallmark of the home are the expansive windows making each view complete and bringing the outside natural world into the house as part of the internal environment.
The front door was designed by Schultz with hand carved three dimensional wooden pieces. The living room and den share a wood-burning see-through fireplace. Sliding doors in the den lead to a secluded deck. The kitchen features a breakfast room and doors that take you to a second deck. The property located on a .56 acre private lot with neighbor’s lots joining in the back to create a park-like setting. Ladue Schools. 2-car garage. Read more about Saunders Schultz here. Open Sunday (9/30/18) from 1-3pm!
