Last weekend I had the treat of touring one of Ralph Fournier's most important works- a Chesterfield home built for Burton Duenke. The home sits on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River Valley. Stunning setting and home! The current owners have a wonderful artistic flair and spirit. Perfect stewards for this special gem. The tour was presented by The Landmarks Association for its members….membership does have it's privileges! The home's pool has been transformed into a pond….something I am tempted to do with my martini pool. Come back tomorrow when I feature just the impressive mid-century light fixtures!
