All of my features on Bad Realtor Photos are pulled locally in St. Louis…..unless I note the blog post. I know that these photos must have been okay at one point, though uploaded incorrectly….the agent really should have checked their work.
Here is a bonus picture from another house. Not really bad photography, though try to find out what is funny in this picture.
I was checking out Sauce Magazine's Blog and saw that the old Salt restaurant (on Lindell in the CWE) location was going to be opening again under the name- Nathalie's. Nathalie Pettus owns the "building and lot" and is the proprietor of Overlook Farm up in Clarksville, MO. I know it is going to be yummy and filled with local produce from lush Pike County. Did you know that she has green houses up near Overlook Farm and raises her own Tilapia?
You need to stroll down McPherson Ave in the Central West End (CWE) and check out the Holiday windows for Enchanted Embellishment. They are something….and I am not surprised since two of St. Louis' premier drag queens are dudes by day and run this establishment. The store should be opening in the next couple months. A sofa studded in Swarovski crystals is featured in the window and will be for sale in the store. All I can say is Wow!
This outfit is made entirely of greeting cards.
Check out the former greenhouse in back that is being transformed into Mary Ann's Tea Room.
I went through this home yesterday and thought it was a winner. I would call it 40's Deco. I think you can really play up the curved, blocked windows. Imagine it painted bright white to give it an international feel?
"This single owner home was build with LOVE! The entire house has the original hardwood floors, and newer ceramic tile. There are lovely coved ceilings with built-in lighting in the dining and sitting rooms, and an inviting woodburning fireplace in the family room. The renovated kitchen has gorgeous tile flooring and marble countertops. Appliances to stay in kitchen with 2 storage pantries, and breakfast bar. Large master bedroom has a unique bathroom with the original tilework from the 1940s. The french doors in the master bedroom lead to what was formerly a screened in patio, now a perfect enclosed room for whatever you can imagine…has bamboo flooring, its own heating/cooling system and even it's own separate entrance. The extra wide stairs lead to an amazingly large attic, that was designed with the intent to build upwards one day. This home sits on nearly an acre of land, front and back yards have a woodsy feel yet you are close to all the amenities of the Ladue/Brentwood area." $599,000
