Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost—now Pope Leo XIV, the first American pontiff—spent 1977 as an Augustinian novice at Immaculate Conception / St. Henry Parish in Compton Heights, the very church now listed at 3120 Lafayette Avenue.

Designed by Barnett, Haynes & Barnett and completed in 1908, the limestone Gothic‑Revival complex offers roughly 15,750 sq ft of space on 1.26 acres.
