Finding a truly complete property – one that requires no renovating or decorating – is an absolute rarity. As Gary Friedman, chairman and CEO of luxury home furnishings giant Restoration Hardware (RH), notes, “What everyone underestimates is the value of time: it’s the one thing none of us can buy.” A few years ago, aware of the desirability of a residence in which nothing needed to be done, Friedman set out to create it.
