Yesterday I had lunch at Gamlin’s Whiskey House in the CWE. I was joined by a cousin who I had never met from Virginia. She was in town for a convention. What a treat. She said after meeting the St. Louis relatives that she had met her “tribe”. I think she bonded with Aunt Bunny over an affection for leopard print clothing. She is “horsey” and even ran the mounted ranger program in NYC after being in the equestrian competition in the Olympics when she was younger.
Gamlins Whiskey House was really yummy. I have been trying to get in for dinner for a few weeks, though they have been too busy. I had a delicious bacon-wrapped meatloaf.
