Mid-century St. Louis, Stylish Town and Country Homes

Takara, Town and Country, Mid-century Asian-inspired Gem SOLD/CLOSED- “a beautiful thing to behold”

Today my listing on Takara in Town and Country closed.  This home sold on the first day on the market with 6 contracts and 2 back-ups. One of the back-ups ended up being the buyer. So in these competitive situations…make sure you put in a back-up with your Realtor.  This is the 2nd deal that I had that a back-up ended up being the Buyer!

There is so much to share on this post…..check out the brochure for this development below…1965.  I think the development went bust and only 4 of the Japanese-inspired homes were built. It did not scan correctly though the back of the brochure read:  Ira E. Berry- Realtor; Berry-Contrael and Marlock/Newmark- Developer/Builder; Ralph G. Contrael, Concept and Design; Pulaski Bank- Finance.
