Yesterday a friend treated me to the Heart Of The Home Kitchen Tours” fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We toured 9 kitchen in Ladue and Clayton. It really was a wow event. The homes were all lovely and the kitchens amazing. I know…where are the pictures? They would not let me take them of the inside of the homes and then I left my camera in the car. Below is a picture of a lovely outdoor space from a Ladue home. Also below is the fabulous Trails End home in Ladue. Formerly a hunt club built by the Shinkle and Johnson families. My Aunt Bunny tells me stories of people riding horses through the Living Room. Believe me…there is plenty of room to do so.
The outdoor dining area is great and the fireplace at the end is a wonderful idea.
